When Rabbi Michael Barclay requested that I create a pitch to publishers for his book on the the Ketuvim, the Writings of the Bible, I knew that it would not be a simple letter. At 6'2" tall with a basso profundo voice and pony tail, Rabbi himself, was definitely part of the "sell" to publishers, who insist upon authors marketing and hawking their books. His pitch booklet broke through clutter - with a cover letter, list of established authors and religious leaders' endorsements, his CV, several of his published articles and a video I created and posted on YouTube, for publishers to watch
